The original version which was first released in 1979 has received a major update and has been packaged as a limited edition release
Adidas has made some HUGE updates to their timeless classic - the Copa Mundial.
The original version, which you can still buy today, was first released in 1979, but 37 years later,
Adidas has delivered a fresh update.
Called the Copa SL - Adidas has ditched the traditional kangaroo leather upper and replaced it with a thin synthetic, which has decreased the weight from over 300 grams to just 184g.
The Copa SL also incorporates Adidas’ sprintframe and a new stud system, which has also helped keep the weight down.
Adidas have kept their design traditional, and as well as sticking with the fold-over tongue, they’ve opted to keep the black and white colour way, with the iconic three stripes on each side.
But if you fancy a pair you better be quick, the Copa SL is a limited edition!
